Man sought for home invasion, sexual assault in Frankford

BRIDESBURG (WPVI) -- Police are searching for a suspect involved in a home invasion and sexual assault in Philadelphia's Frankford section.n.

The incident happened around 10 p.m. Monday along the 2100 Granite Street.

A 28-year-old woman told police, she answered a knock at her door, and a man armed with a gun barged into her home.

The suspect then locked two other women and a 3-year-old boy who were also inside the home in an upstairs bathroom.

Police say he sexually assaulted the 28-year-old woman.

The suspect made off with two TV's and cell phones. At this time, it's unclear if the suspect fled in a vehicle.

Police are searching for the suspect.
