Man wounded by gunfire in Frankford

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police are investigating a shooting in Frankford.

It happened before 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the 2100 block of Granite Street.

15th District officers arrived to find a 22-year-old man suffering from a graze wound to the back of the head.

Medics took the man to Temple University Hospital with stable vital signs.

Police are working to determine who shot the man and why.
