Man's body found in woods in Holmesburg

HOLMESBURG (WPVI) -- Police are investigating after an unidentified man's body was found in the city's Holmesburg section.

This discovery was made around 2:10 p.m. Friday.

Police say the body of a black man in his mid-60s was found in a wooded section off the Pennypack path near State Road.

No word on the cause of death.
