Man's body found on side of highway in Galloway Township

GALLOWAY TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Atlantic County police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found on the side of the highway.

The discovery was reported around 7:20 a.m. Sunday on Great Creek Road in Galloway Township, New Jersey.

Police said a man was found dead at the scene.

As a result of the discovery, Great Creek Road between Jim Leeds Road and Wrangleboro Road has been shut down until further notice.

Next of kin has been notified. The identity of the victim is being withheld.
