Pedestrian found lying on Schuylkill Expressway

GRAYS FERRY (WPVI) -- A person was discovered lying on the Schuylkill Expressway in the Grays Ferry section of Philadelphia.

The discovery was made around 5:05 p.m. Monday in the eastbound lanes near the Vare Avenue exit.

It is believed the person was struck by a vehicle.

All eastbound lanes have been shut down.
