Person in custody after barricade situation in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police have taken one person into custody after a barricade situation in West Philadelphia.

The incident began around 4 a.m. Friday on the 5800 block of Sansom Street.

Police and SWAT teams responded to the area after reports of shots fired inside the house.

The barricade ended with no one hurt.

Several streets were blocked during the investigation, but have since reopened.
