Philadelphia police ask for help in Holmesburg hit-and-run

HOLMESBURG (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are asking for the public's help in a fatal hit and run investigation.

33-year-old Theresa Pozzi was struck and killed on Street Road in the Holmesburg section last Tuesday evening.

Investigators are looking for a 1987 to 1991 model Ford pickup or tow truck.

They say it will have front end damage to the left side.

"The family's devastated. The friends are devastated. So we're just trying to piece it altogether. We did follow some leads, none of them panned out," Captain John Wilczynski said.

Police say there was no surveillance video in the area to help in their investigation.
