Philadelphia police search for missing man

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing man.

47-year-old Peter DeCosta was last seen at approximately 7:30 a.m. Saturday at his residence at Mifflin Court located on the 1900 block of South 6th Street.

DeCosta is described as black male, 6'2", 160 pounds, with a thin build, brown eyes, dark complexion, and a short black afro; he was last seen wearing black jeans, a black jacket and brown hiking boots.

Police say DeCosta suffers from a medical condition and requires medication.
