PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia police officer has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife.
Officer Joseph Griffin, 30, was assigned to the 3rd District and was an eight-year member of the force.
Investigators did not release further details about the incident.
Griffin is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats, Harassment, Intimidation of a Victim and Recklessly Endangering another Person
Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey has suspended Griffin for thirty days with the intent to dismiss.
