A pilot was rescued after a small aircraft crash in Gloucester County.

SOUTH HARRISON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A pilot was rescued after a small aircraft crash in Gloucester County.

It happened around 3:50 p.m. Saturday at Monroeville and Lincoln Road in South Harrison Township, New Jersey.

Officials say the Ginny B aircraft overturned on its roof after it experienced an engine-related problem.

The pilot, believed to be the lone occupant, was described as conscious and alert at the time of the rescue. He refused hospitalization.

Gloucester County officials are investigating.
