RALEIGH (WPVI) -- A flight that originated in Philadelphia had to make an emergency landing in North Carolina on its way to Jacksonville, Florida.
The plane landed at Raleigh-Durham International Airport just before 6:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Our sister station WTVD reports no one on board was hurt.
The airline says the flight crew made the call to divert after a report of smoke in the cabin.
The plane was a Republic Airlines flight operating as American Eagle.
The airline says it was working to get the 65 passengers to Jacksonville as quickly as possible.
