Police investigate CVS robbery in Lawncrest

LAWNCREST (WPVI) -- Police are searching for a suspect who held up a CVS store in the Lawncrest section of Philadelphia.

The robbery occurred around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 5800 block of Rising Sun Avenue.

Police say a man entered the store and presented a demand note to one of the employees.

After receiving money, the man fled the store and remains at large.

No injuries have been reported.
