Police investigate Northeast Philadelphia shooting

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a shooting in Northeast Philadelphia.

The shooting occurred around 12:30 p.m. Sunday on the 2200 block of Disston Street.

Police say a 56-year-old male was shot once in the leg.

He was transported to Aria Health Torresdale by police and is listed in stable condition.

Police say a weapon was recovered and an arrest has been made.
