NORTHAMPTON TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Police in Bucks County say an off-duty Philadelphia police officer shot her husband in the driveway of their home.



It happened shortly before 6 a.m. Tuesday on the unit block of Marmic Drive in Northampton Township.



Police say the victim was transported to an area hospital to be treated for a wound to the mid-section.



At this time, no charges have been filed, but that is still a possibility.



Police tell Action News that the shooting did not involve her service issued gun.



Three children were inside the home when the shooting occurred. They were not harmed.
