Missing Pittsgrove teen found safe in Florida

PITTSGROVE, N.J. (WPVI) -- New Jersey State Police say a missing Pittsgrove teenager has been found safe in Florida.

17-year-old Rachael Lynn Manzo was reported missing around 10:30 a.m. Monday and was last seen late Sunday night.

According to police, she was found Wednesday hundreds of miles away in Florida.

No word how Rachel ended up there but authorities say she is in FBI custody.

Friends reported the teen had a text conversation with an unknown male on Sunday and may have been planning to meet him.

On Wednesday, State Police said they determined that Rachel left her home on her own accord.
