CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for allegedly stealing copper from a building in Center City, Philadelphia.
The incident happened around 2:15 a.m. on May 27 at 1529 Walnut Street.
Police say the suspect entered a building under construction.
Once inside, the suspect was captured on surveillance video removing tools, and copper fittings, valued at $4,000, police say.
He then left the building, heading in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a black male, 6'5" tall, 325 pounds, and stocky build. He was wearing a black t-shirt with white writing.
