Rescue crews search Delaware River

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Rescue crews were dispatched after a report that two people went missing in the Delaware River.

The call came in at 7:40 a.m. Monday.

Chopper 6 HD was overhead as a U.S. Coast Guard vessel searched an area off Race Street in Center City Philadelphia.

There was no immediate word on the circumstances surrounding the reported disappearance.

As of 9:00 a.m. Monday, no one had been found in the river.
