Small aircraft crashes after takeoff from Princeton Airport

MONTGOMERY TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Officials say a small aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff from the Princeton Airport.

It happened just before 7:00 p.m. Wednesday night.

Authorities say a small aircraft had just taken off from the Princeton Airport.

Officials say there was some kind of tissue after takeoff, causing the aircraft to crash in Montgomery Township, Somerset County.

The pilot suffered minor injuries but refused hospitalization.

The incident remains under investigation.
