Police say a 2-year-old girl fell from a 2-story window in North Philadelphia early Monday morning.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a 4-year-old girl fell from a two story window in North Philadelphia early Monday morning.



The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. on the 1800 block of Susquehanna Avenue.



The girl fell 12 feet from a window in the rear of the property, police say.



Police say one parent was asleep at the time while another was downstairs.



They learned of the fall when someone knocked on their door telling them their child fell out of the window.



The child was taken to the hospital to be checked out, but investigators say there were no visible signs of injury.



Police continue to investigate, however there are no charges at this time.
