CARNEYS POINT, N.J. (WPVI) -- Rescuers were called to the scene of a serious crash involving a tractor-trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike.
It happened in the northbound lanes at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday near Exit 1 for Carneys Point.
State police tell Action News the tractor-trailer left the road and ended up in some woods adjacent to the turnpike.
Images from Chopper 6 HD over the scene showed significant damage to the cab of the tractor-trailer, and to a guard rail nearby.
There was no immediate confirmation on the number or extent of any injuries.
