Transformer fire causes detours in Center City

Fire crews on the scene of an underground electrical fire in Center City, Philadelphia early Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out just before 4:30 a.m. on 18th near Samsom Street.

Crews arrived to find a fire located in an underground manhole.

Detours have been set up as fire and PECO crews remain on the scene.

There were no reports of injuries.
