HOCKESSIN, Del. (WPVI) -- Authorities have released the identity of the man killed when a tractor trailer collided with a pickup truck in Hockessin, Delaware.
The accident happened at 12:56 p.m. Thursday in the 7000 block of Lancaster Pike.
The victim, 26-year-old William Fox, was driving a Dodge pickup truck travelling southbound on Lancaster Pike.
Police say he was speeding when his vehicle crossed into the northbound lanes, striking a tractor-trailer.
The tractor-trailer then struck two road signs and a utility pole.
Fox, who police say wasn't wearing a seat belt at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not harmed.
Delaware State Police continue to investigate
