Woman found dead in partial house collapse in Delaware

Police say a woman was found dead inside a partial collapsed home in Newark, Delaware.

Officers responded to the home on Denny Circle Wednesday evening.

Officials say someone had left water running which caused a flood.

A portion of the second floor gave way under the weight of the water.

Crews on the scene discovered a woman dead in another section of the home.

They say her death does not appear to be linked to the collapse.

The incident remains under investigation.
