Woman's body found in Allentown recycling bin

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Lehigh County officials are investigating after a woman was found dead inside a recycling bin in Allentown.

The discovery was made around 2:45 p.m. Sunday in a parking lot to the rear of the 800 block of East Tilghman Street.

Police say the woman's body was found stuffed inside a large blue recycling container.

She is described as an Asian woman, between 18-30 years old, about five feet tall, weighing about 119 pounds with short, black hair.

She was found wearing pink fingernail polish, blue pantyhose stockings, black dress pants and a green sweater with a white collar and white cuffs, black-and-white Nike sneakers and a silver necklace.
