Worker struck and killed by trash truck in Ridley Park

RIDLEY PARK, Pa. (WPVI) -- A worker was struck and killed by a trash truck Tuesday in Ridley Park, Delaware County.

It happened around 2:25 p.m. in the area of Ladomus Avenue and Chester Pike.

The Delaware County District Attorney's Office tells Action News that the trash worker was struck by the trash truck.

The circumstances leading to the deadly incident are still being investigated.

The worker's identity has not yet been released.
