Is this a dog or a bear? Action News solves the "mystery"

It's a question for the ages, or shall we say a question for the internet age: is this a bear cub or a dog?

Strangers have been fiercely debating that question since a friend of dog groomer, Ryan Horn, posted his photo on Reddit.

For reference, here's a photo of an actual bear cub.

It's pretty close.

But after talking to Horn, Action News can confirm that the furry pet is actually a Pomeranian-mix from Georgia named Bounce.

Horn, who works at the Dog Spot in West Nashville, even sent us a few more photos to prove that the "beardog" is simply a dog.

Mystery solved!
