Montgomery County, Pa. (WPVI) -- A jogger says she was sexually assaulted in a Montgomery County park.
Authorities are asking the public's help in finding her attacker.
Tuesday, August 1st was a sunny, beautiful day. The perfect day for a morning run.
That's just what a 19-year-old woman was doing at Norristown Farm Park in Montgomery County just before 11 a.m.
Santo Montecalvo of the Citizens Crime Commission said, "She was jogging, she was approached by a black male, point of gun, and she was sexually attacked."
The park is an expansive 800 acres, and it's not clear where the alleged attack actually happened.
"We just need that one little tip to bring this predator to trial. Look it could happen to you, it could happen to your sister, your mother or your niece," Montecalvo said.
The teenager was taken to the hospital for treatment.
She was able to give police a vague description of the man, saying he was black, wearing a black mask and a dark hooded sweatshirt.
The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $10,000 reward for information.
"If anybody knows anything, pick up the phone and call 546-TIPS, $10,000 reward for the arrest and conviction," Montecalvo said.
All calls will remain anonymous.
