Barricade situation in South Philadelphia ends with 2 arrests

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a barricade situation has ended in South Philadelphia with two men taken into custody.

The SWAT team and a lot of police converged on the 600 block of Jackson Street.

It started unfolding around 11 a.m. Thursday.

By 12:30 p.m., the situation was over and the men were arrested.

There is no word on what sparked all of the activity or exactly what charges are being filed.
