SPRING GARDEN (WPVI) -- A day-long event in Philadelphia encouraged younger voters to register then vote in the November presidential election.
The first-ever Civic Engagement Summit was organized by Opportunity Youth United and featured workshops at several locations, including the Community College of Philadelphia and Philadelphia School District Headquarters.
The non-partisan event was geared towards young people specifically from low income, urban and tribal communities.
