What's the Deal: Tax Day freebies

Few people look forward to tax day, but there are some perks - like free stuff!

This year the list of tax day freebies is long and varied.

Our friends at DealNews have compiled some of the best ones, and here's a sampling.

Head to the Hard Rock Cafe on Monday, April 18th and get a free local legendary burger. There is a catch to this one, though. You do have to sing for your supper, but at least you won't have to open your wallet!

At Noodles & Company, buy any entree and get a kids meal for free.

And after lunch, enjoy a free sweet treat at Great American Cookies. The chain is offering free chocolate chip cookies.

If shaved ice is more your thing, get a complimentary one at Kona Ice.

After doing your taxes, you might have some documents to shred, right? You can shred up to 5-pounds of documents for free at Staples.

And finally.. Take some time to relax with a free massage via Hydromassage's traveling jet system. Just go to the website and find the location nearest you, there are a number of locations in our area.

Also if you're eligible, don't forget to apply for the Federal Earned Income Tax Credit before the April 18th deadline.
