GULPH MILLS, Pa., (WPVI) -- Firefighters battled a smoky truck fire near the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) in Upper Merion Township.
The blaze broke out in a dump truck at 7 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of South Gulph and Trinity roads.
Video from Chopper 6 showed a dump truck with heavy fire damage to the engine and cab area.
Multiple firefighting units were on the scene. South Gulph and Trinity roads were blocked in the area.
Smoke from the blaze spilled across the Schuylkill Expressway during the morning rush hour.
The fire appeared to be completely out by 8 a.m.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
