TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- A New Jersey state lawmaker has introduced a bill that would bring the lottery right to your home.

The measure would let couriers deliver your lottery tickets if you couldn't make it to the store.

While lottery delivery isn't currently illegal, lawmakers want to outline regulations and protect people's winnings.

A push to create an online lottery in New Jersey failed in 2011.
