Jim Gardner receives Pinnacle Award from Philly Ad Club

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- The Philly Ad club paid tribute to Jim Gardner's impact on the communications industry in Philadelphia by honoring him with a very special award.

On Thursday, Jim received the Pinnacle Award at the 8th annual Movers and Shakers luncheon at the Loews Hotel in Center City.

Jim humbly accepted the honor, and, as usual, gave thanks to all those - on air and off - that make Action News the community's trusted source.

6abc General Manager Bernie Prazenica and News Director Tom Davis were among our many colleagues there to celebrate.

Also honored were, Jim Gallagher, retired vice president and general manager of Comcast Spotlight, Jack Williams, founder of Comcast SportsNet, and the late Harry Kalas.
