CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A Center City school earned 5 hundred dollars for excelling in a civic challenge.
Fifth graders at the Kirkbride School got that big check for placing third in the Lenfest Citizenship Challenge.
They submitted a video essay about the electoral college, and whether it, or the people, should elect the president.
Judge Marjorie Rendell gave them the money on behalf of the Rendell Center for Civics and Civic Engagement.
