Local park marks an important milestone

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- One of Philadelphia's most popular public spaces hosted a special ceremony Thursday to mark a century milestone.

The Independence National Historical Park honored the Society Hill Civic Association's contributions to Washington Square.

The Action Cam was at the ceremony in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier of the American Revolution.

The ceremony marks one hundred years since the creation of America's National Park Service.
