Wildwood opens surf beach

WILDWOOD, N.J. (WPVI) -- Wildwood has a new attraction for shore goers, and it will have plenty of people hanging 10 this summer.

The town just opened a designated surfing area on the beach at Andrews Avenue, south of the convention center.

There's no charge for anyone who wants to use it.

If you need to learn to surf, there are nearby stands offering rentals and lessons.

The surf beach is a first for the city.
