In a tribute to the host team, the Cincinnati Reds, players in next month's Major League Baseball All-Star Game will wear hats with wide horizontal stripes.

The style is meant to serve as a tribute to the hats worn by the Cincinnati Red Stockings at the turn of the 20th century.

The 86th MLB All-Star Game will take place at Cincinnati's Great American Ball Park on July 14.

This year's hat will have an All-Star patch on the back instead of on the side. The hats will hit stores June 25. Each will cost $37.99.
