Philadelphia 76erssay forwardNerlens Noelis set to rejoin the team Thursday after a brief injury rehab assignment with their D-League affiliate.
Noel practiced Wednesday with the Delaware 87ers, who are owned and operated by the Sixers, as part of his recovery from an October arthroscopic knee surgery.
Noel's stint with Delaware was purely for rehab purposes and didn't involve any game action, similar to what the Sixers did recently with veteran guard Jerryd Bayless.
On Monday, Noel told The Philadelphia Inquirer that he's likely "a couple of weeks" away from returning to the Sixers' active roster.
"I think I'm in a good place right now to start building back up into game shape," Noel told the newspaper.
