PHILADELPHIA -- The Phillies have settled two of their three salary arbitration cases, agreeing with shortstop Freddy Galvis at $2 million and right-hander Jeanmar Gomez at $1.4 million.
Galvis, 26, hit .263 with seven homers and 50 RBI last year for the rebuilding Phillies and made $513,500.
Gomez, 27, was 2-3 with a 3.01 ERA in 65 relief appearances last season, when he made $800,000.
Right-hander Jeremy Hellickson is Philadelphia's only player remaining in arbitration. He was acquired from Arizona in November and can become a free agent after this season.
