PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia Flyers signed Czech defenseman Radko Gudas to a multiyear contract extension, the team announced Thursday.
A source told ESPN's Pierre LeBrun that it is a four-year extension worth $3.35 million annually.
Gudas, 26, had six goals and five assists in 76 games this past season, his first with the Flyers. He was second in the NHL with 304 hits, and second on the team with 157 blocked shots.
Gudas was acquired from Tampa Bay in March 2015. He has 12 goals and 34 assists in 202 games in parts of four seasons with the Lightning and Flyers.
