Rehabbing rookie point guard Markelle Fultz is traveling with the Philadelphia 76ers on their West Coast road trip and is expected to take on more basketball activities, including team drills, on the trip.
The Sixers are in Portland for a game Thursday, followed by games in Denver on Saturday and Phoenix on Sunday.
There is still no timetable on an actual return to action, sources tell ESPN. Fultz, the No. 1 selection in the 2017 draft, has played in just four games this season because of a scapular muscle imbalance in his right shoulder. The Sixers shut down the point guard following a game on Oct. 23.
On Dec. 9, the Sixers announced that Fultz was no longer dealing with any issues in his shoulder and was cleared to participate in team activities. The team said at that point that Fultz would be re-evaluated in three weeks, which would be this coming Saturday.
