Taco, unicorn among dozens of new emojis coming soon

The taco emoji has finally arrived, but the good news doesn't end there.

The Unicode Consortium, which oversees everything related to the cartoons, also released a burrito emoji.

Other new emojis include a hot dog, a pink-haired unicorn and a hockey stick and puck, to appease the sports fans.

But before you get too excited about the emoji package, featuring everything from an eye roll to a cheese wedge, there's a catch.

There's no guarantee that Apple or Google will decide to add any of the 41 new characters and modifiers to their library.
