1 dead after car crashes and catches fire in East Whiteland Township

EAST WHITELAND TOWNSHIP (WPVI) -- Police in Chester County are on the scene of a deadly crash in East Whiteland Township.

The single-car crash happened near the intersection of Business Route 30 and Morehall Road.

Police say a man is dead after losing control Saturday.

According to officials, the impact of the crash caused the car to flip over and catch fire.

The crash remains under investigation.
