1 dead after tractor trailer hits pole, overturns in Salem County

QUINTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- New Jersey State Police are investigating a fatal accident involving a tractor trailer in Quinton Township.

The accident happened around 6:40 a.m. along Route 540 (Telegraph Road) near Cool Run Road.

The driver of a truck died after he lost control of vehicle and struck a utility pole, causing the vehicle to overturn.

The victim is said to be a 39-year-old man from Glassboro.

So far, no word on what may have caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
