TOWAMENCIN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Traffic is flowing again on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-476) after a crash involving four tractor-trailers shut down the northbound lanes of the highway for hours on Tuesday.[br /][br /]The crash happened before 5:30 a.m. in an ongoing construction zone just north of the Lansdale exit in Towamencin Township, Montgomery County.[br /][Ads /][br /][media ID="1571923" /][br /][br /]Along with the trucks, at least one other vehicle was involved.[br /][br /]Despite the heavy damage to the vehicles involved, only one minor injury was reported.[br /][br /]Police shut down all northbound lanes at the Lansdale exit and for nine hours it was detoured all the way up to the Quakertown exit in Bucks County.[br /][br /]Turnpike officials handed out slips of paper with suggestions on how to get around the closure.[br /][br /]Matt Inca, from Philadelphia, was one of the lucky ones. He was getting off at the Lansdale exit anyway.[br /][Ads /][br /]"I was coming up actually from Levittown, and I thought it was going to be worse.
