SEPTA bus, motorcycle collide in Parkwood section of Philadelphia

PARKWOOD (WPVI) -- Police say a SEPTA bus ran over a motorcyclist in the Parkwood section of Philadelphia.

The collision happened Thursday morning near the intersection of Mechanicville and Knights roads.

The motorcycle was reportedly trapped under the bus at one point, but the driver was able to free himself.

He was alert and talking to police at the scene.

It was not immediately clear if anyone else was hurt.
