Serious crash on Black Horse Pike in Gloucester County

MONROE TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A serious crash slowed traffic on the Black Horse Pike in Gloucester County.

It happened before 8:30 a.m. Monday where the Old Black Horse Pike merges with the Black Horse Pike in Monroe Township.

Images from Chopper 6 HD showed an SUV and a sedan, both with heavy damage.

Action News is told at least one person was hurt, but there was no immediate word on the extent of injuries.

The Black Horse Pike remained open.

One lane was blocked as medics treated the injured and crews worked to clear the scene.
