Tractor trailer overturns on Route 40 in Bear, Del.

BEAR, Del. (WPVI) -- A tractor trailer carrying a load of yogurt and hummus overturned early Monday morning in Bear, Delaware.

The accident happened on Route 40 westbound near School Bell Road.

Police say the driver was able to kick out the windshield to escape.

He was not seriously hurt.

Some lanes in the area are blocked, but road crews are working to clear the scene.
