OCEAN VIEW, N.J. (WPVI) -- A driver struck a child who was trick-or-treating in Cape May County.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday along Cole Avenue near Belcroft Avenue in Ocean View.

A witness said the little boy, who was dressed as a unicorn, had just left his home with family members when he was hit by an SUV.

The child had to be flown to the hospital but is expected to be okay.

The driver remained at the scene to speak with police.

So far no charges have been filed.
