5 hospitalized after SEPTA bus, tractor trailer collide in Delaware County

SPRINGFIELD, Pa. -- Five people were hospitalized after a SEPTA bus and tractor trailer collided in Springfield, Delaware County.



It happened around 5:30 p.m. Sunday on Baltimore Pike near Homestead Avenue.



Officials say a Route 109 bus collided with a tractor trailer.



Five passengers complaining of head and neck pain were taken to Mercy and Delaware County Memorial hospitals for observation.



No word yet on what caused the crash.
